Aryanne C. Young
Language Acquisition Teacher
Aryanne C. Young is an education professional with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development. She is currently completing an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Florida. Her dissertation topic lends itself to conversations around the importance of mental health support and guidance for educators. With a background in business administration, she is a education consultant with her company The Learning Leopards. Her journey also includes certification as Special Education teacher, a Reading Specialist, leading as ELL department chair, and ELL/ELA Teacher for grades 2-4 in Washington, D.C. Her leadership has spanned various educational initiatives, encouraging equity of access in technology, curricular innovation and pedagogical development, as well a strong commitment to inclusivity and empathy in education for students as well as educators. In her free time, she loves reading a good book, being a mermaid, scuba diving, dancing to any beat, hanging out with her goddaughters and playing with her two cats, Tokyo and Nairobi.
